First day of first grade for Lex

Today was Lex's first day of first grade. I cried. We had a huge argument over breakfast (her not eating it). Me feeling horrible and guilty. I remember last year her teacher (Lex loved her) telling me that she wasn't learning because she wasn't given breakfast. She was given breakfast she just didn't choose to eat it! Well she didn't eat it today either. Other then tube feeding her there isn't much more I can do. Then of course while the argument is going on Robin (daddy) is staring at me like "have you lost your mind"?? Well perhaps I have!
I ran out to the car at the last minute and gave her a hug and told her I loved her. She said she loved me back so I guess we have both recovered from the ordeal. So please give a thought to Lex on her first day and hope that she fits in and makes tons of new friends and everyone loves her as much as we do.
